Characters: In this picture the lady at the front seems like the main character because she is at the front. She is wearing a green bra and black knickers. She also has a cardigan which is hanging off one of her shoulders which could suggest she never really wanted to take off her clothes.Her stockings are ripped which could suggest that someone has tried to rip them off or that she is not bothered about what she wears.Her mascara is running down her face which shows she has been crying. Her facial expression suggests that she does not want to be there and also looks like she has started to think about how she even got herself into this predicament. As you look closer to the picture you can see that there are teenagers on the floor and are being very intimate with each other. This shows that there is sum sort of party or gathering going on.

Interior design: In the picture the room looks like an older person has chosen the style and layout because the design on the wall paper is a very old floral pattern which no teenager would choose.This suggest that the teenagers are having a party at one of their parents or grandparents house. The lampshade in the background looks very old and the picture above the lamp has a floral pattern on it yet again. The wallpaper is torn and ripped across the wall which could suggest that the house had been damaged because the party got out of hand. This shows this place is a bad place to be because the wallpaper represents destruction and maybe how the lady at the front is feeling because she also looks like she has been hurt or damaged by something.
Colour: As a whole the colours in the picture are dark which suggests that the atmosphere is gloomy and dull and the mood is sadness and despair. The persons bra at the front is green which is the brightest colour in the picture which shows attention was supposed to be brought to this particular region.
Lighting: The lighting in the picture highlights certain points. The light shining in from the window is directly shining on the wall which brings the attention to the wallpaper which is destroyed. This suggest that the audience is supposed to notice destruction in the picture and is made to feel like this is a bad place.The lamp at the back of the room is very bright and brings the attention to the boy sitting at the back. This makes the audience curious about why he is by himself and suggests that no one likes him as he shown to be the typical nerd because of the glasses and the hat. Finally there is a light shining down on the lady at the front of the picture which shows her status because the light makes her more known to the audience eventhough there are alot of people in this picture so it shows she is important to the picture or storyline.It also emphasises her facial expression.
Conclusions: From this picture teenagers are being represented badly due to various reasons.Teenagers are being portrayed as people who are very sexually active, like going to parties to be intimate and have lots of problems because of these things stated. In a way the picture is realistic because the reasons I have stated are true but teenagers have more respect for themselves and do not go to parties to be initmate like it is showing in this picture. I think that teenagers will have different responses to this picture depending on who the person is. This picture is definetly offensive to the teenagers who do not live this type of lifestyle.
